David’s Star Wars Sanctuary
Using decor & furniture six-year-old David already had in his room, this space was reimagined with some paint & vision. Inspiration was drawn mostly from the 80’s movies, as they were David’s favorite! Now he’s sweet dreamin’ in space with a Forest Moon of Endor mural, R2D2 dresser, hyperspace painted headboard, Star Wars art made from postcards of the comic & book covers, & a resting place for his Star Wars toys

Phoebe’s Serene Tween Oasis
11-year-old Phoebe needed a calming space to relax, write, read, & grow. A budding author & modern day tween, we began with organizing & giving her clothes, jewelry, books, momentos, & knick knacks a special place. Rearranging the furniture created space for a new “reading nook,” complete with a handmade white chiffon canopy & cozy chair. Existing furniture & the walls were spruced up with teal & gray paint. A new bookshelf was purchased & twinkle lights were added for ambience. Lastly, a large tree mural with rainbow leaves & butterflies was painted, so now Phoebe rests easy under a tree every night

Library & Entryway - Alexander Adaire School; Philadelphia, PA
Kickstarter & Comcast funded school library mural & room redo + improvised entryway Welcome Mural for K-8 school
Library - John Moffet School; Philadelphia, PA
Parent funded geometric accent border & room redo for deserving K-5 public school. I was asked to create a simple geometric design and select colors that would both brighten the room AND correspond with future planned upgrades, like a gray and white floor that replaced the carpet and new custom furniture. The gray I picked, with light reflective qualities, certainly did the trick!
Sample Residential Work
Improvised/Thrifty Walls
The following projects were completed in a matter of hours at Philadelphia Air BnB’s. I didn’t know what room was being painted or what supplies (including paint!) were on hand until I showed up onsite. Essentially a “Live Painting” event but for walls. The objective was to quickly improve the look of the room through paint. Most rooms began white or gray. Typically I paint three walls a solid color and then create one accent wall. I imagined many of these to be “selfie” walls for visitors, as that is the way of the times.
